Job Title: IT System Support Specialist Role
Duration: 6-12 Months Contract 
Location: Winter Park FL - Onsite Role
Pay Range: $22-23/h on W2

Job Summary:
We are seeking a detail-oriented IT Support Specialist to provide technical support, troubleshooting, and system maintenance across a range of hardware, software, and network environments. This role involves supporting end users, maintaining system performance, and assisting in the planning, design, and implementation of IT systems. The ideal candidate will have a strong technical foundation, excellent problem-solving skills, and the ability to work in dynamic and high-pressure environments.
Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide day-to-day technical support for hardware, software, and network-related issues
  • Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to desktops, laptops, mobile devices, and enterprise applications
  • Install, configure, and maintain computer systems, peripherals, and software
  • Assist in the planning, design, and implementation of new and existing IT systems
  • Support users with Microsoft productivity tools and related applications
  • Diagnose system issues using appropriate tools and methodologies
  • Maintain and enforce IT standards, policies, and best practices
  • Document technical issues, resolutions, and system configurations
  • Collaborate with internal teams to resolve complex technical problems
  • Support both wired and wireless network connectivity issues
  • Provide user training and guidance on system usage and best practices
Required Qualifications:
  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related field, or equivalent combination of education and experience
  • Minimum 1 year of experience in IT support, troubleshooting, or system administration
  • Strong knowledge of Microsoft productivity tools (Microsoft 365/Office Suite)
  • Experience with installation, configuration, and troubleshooting of hardware and software
  • Basic understanding of networking concepts (wired and wireless)
  • Familiarity with computer diagnostic tools and troubleshooting techniques
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills

  • Ability to work in fast-paced and high-pressure environments
  • Flexibility to support extended hours or on-site presence during critical incidents or emergencies
