Desktop support Engineer-Workstation/Server troubleshooting (2nd shift) (Onsite - Gallatin, TN)
We are seeking an experienced Desktop Support Engineer for our global retail client. In this role, you will work in a dynamic, high paced environment focused on ensuring employees' end-to-end technology needs are met quickly and efficiently by delivering service that is above and beyond internal customer expectations across headquarters, stores, regional offices, distribution centers, and remote locations. You will assess, diagnose, and resolve technology issues while supporting employees both onsite and remotely.
This is a 40-hour per week, 24-month contract (possible extension), an onsite role in Gallatin, TN. Working shift will be 2nd shift, Monday through Friday, 1:00 PM 9:00 PM CST.
This is a W2 role as a Stage 4 Solutions employee. Health benefits and a 401K are offered.
Responsibilities:
Provide an exceptional technology experience for employees by listening, asking questions, soliciting feedback, and assessing and responding appropriately to device hardware and application issues, requests, and needs in an efficient and timely manner.
Determine appropriate and alternative solutions from mostly defined procedures and options.
Research, diagnose, resolve, or escalate technical and procedural issues from multiple service channels using multiple tools and documented processes.
Deliver positive customer experiences by creating a welcoming environment and providing support through all channels both in person and virtually.
Ensure consistency in service quality and capabilities for a high level of customer satisfaction.
Demonstrate an understanding of relevant technologies and application products within a technology support environment.
Learn and apply process and technical knowledge in problem solving while multitasking and keeping stakeholders informed.
Take personal accountability to meet key performance measurements.
Support workstation and server troubleshooting activities.
Provide onsite and remote technology support as needed.
Requirements:
4+ years of experience with workstation/server troubleshooting support.
In-depth knowledge of computer and hardware devices.
Experience with remote desktop assistance tools including Nextthink.
Experience with Automation & Scripting, Service Now, SCCM, JamF, Zoom, MS Teams, and Slack.
Ability to develop and maintain relationships with business partners and all levels of the organization. Flexible supporting employees onsite and remotely.
