Job Summary:
Key Responsibilities:
  1. Design, Plan, and Implement SCCM Infrastructure:
    • Plan SCCM hierarchy, site system roles, and secure configurations.
    • Create and manage boundary groups, distribution points, and secondary sites.
    • Manage site communications and bandwidth optimization.
    • Implement and manage Role-Based Administration (RBAC).
    • Monitor site health using SSRS, SCCM logs, and the admin console.
    • Design and implement SCCM backup and disaster recovery plans.
  1. SCCM Upgrades & Maintenance:
    • Perform in-console upgrades and SCCM version upgrades.
    • Manage and deploy client agent upgrades across endpoints.
    • Optimize and fine-tune existing SCCM environments.
  1. Software & OS Deployment:
    • Lead application deployment, patch management, and OS image deployment (OSD).
    • Create frameworks and guidelines for software/OS distribution and migrations.
    • Implement App Store and provisioning workflows within SCCM.
  1. Migration & Strategy:
    • Develop and execute migration strategies (e.g., SCCM 2007 to SCCM 2012/1710/latest).
    • Independently build new SCCM infrastructures in customer environments.
  1. Technical Support & Documentation:
    • Install, configure, and troubleshoot SCCM infrastructure.
    • Document architecture, configurations, and SOPs.
    • Present technical solutions through whiteboarding and documentation.
    • Mentor team members and provide technical expertise.
  1. Tools & Technologies:
    • Manage Citrix Virtual Apps & Desktops and desktop infrastructure services.
    • Utilize PowerShell and VBScript for automation and task execution.
  1. ITIL Process Adherence:
    • Work within Incident, Asset, Problem, and Change Management processes.
