Position Type:
  • Contract
  • Onsite
Required:
  • 1 - 3 years of desktop support or hands-on IT experience.
  • Basic knowledge of:
    • Windows and/or macOS
    • Microsoft 365 (Teams, Outlook, OneDrive)
    • PC hardware and peripherals
  • Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent communication and customer service skills.
Responsibilities:
  • Desktop Support Associate will provide basic desktop support and assist with office move activities, including the setup, relocation, and validation of computers, peripherals, and collaboration/AV equipment.
  • End-User Support
    • Provide desk-side support for laptops, desktops, and peripherals
    • Troubleshoot basic hardware, software, and connectivity issues
    • Support users during workstation setup and moves
    • Deliver strong customer service and clear communication
  • Move / Deployment Support (Primary Focus)
    • Disconnect, label, transport, and reconnect IT equipment
    • Set up workstations (monitors, docks, keyboards, mice, etc.)
    • Validate connectivity and user readiness post-move
    • Assist with inventory tracking and asset coordination
    • Ensure setups meet company standards and configurations
  • Collaboration & AV Support
  • Assist with setup and basic troubleshooting of:
    • Conference room systems (Teams Rooms, displays)
    • Cameras, microphones, and speakers
    • Validate meeting room functionality after installation
    • Escalate complex AV issues as needed
  • Operational Tasks
    • Update tasks and track work activity as required
    • Maintain inventory accuracy for devices and peripherals
    • Support IMAC activities (installs, moves, adds, changes)
