We are seeking a Workstation Specialist to provide Tier 2 desktop support for users across office and remote field locations. This role is responsible for installing, supporting, and troubleshooting workstations, mobile devices, printers, and network connectivity while delivering excellent customer service. Regular travel to support multiple sites is required.
 

Job Duties

  • Provide Tier 2 desktop support for hardware and software issues.
  • Install, configure, and image Windows workstations and laptops.
  • Deploy and support printers, docking stations, and peripherals.
  • Troubleshoot network, VPN, and connectivity issues.
  • Install and support Cat5e/Cat6 network cabling.
  • Configure and support iPhones, iPads, and mobile devices.
  • Manage support tickets and user account requests.
  • Track and maintain IT equipment inventory.
  • Support VoIP phones and conferencing technologies.
  • Train end users on new hardware and software.
  • Maintain technical documentation.
  • Assist with hardware deployments and technology projects.
  • Travel to office and field locations to provide onsite IT support

Required Qualifications

  • 4+ years of experience installing, configuring, and troubleshooting PC hardware and software in an enterprise LAN/WAN environment.
  • 4+ years of experience installing and supporting laptops and docking stations.
  • 4+ years of experience installing and supporting multifunction printers.
  • 2+ years of experience using Remedy or a similar IT ticketing system.
  • 2+ years of experience installing Cat5e/Cat6 network cabling and performing cable terminations.
  • Valid driver's license with the ability to travel to support multiple work locations.
  • Ability and willingness to travel outside the assigned region for training, meetings, or operational support.
  • Strong attention to detail with the ability to multitask, follow established procedures, and communicate effectively in both written and spoken English.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience installing and supporting Cisco VPN routers.
  • Experience with Active Directory.
  • Experience with Hyena System Management Software.
  • Experience with Microsoft System Center Configuration Manager (SCCM).
  • Experience creating technical documentation and procedures.
  • Project management experience.
  • Experience leading hardware deployment projects or technical teams.
  • Experience reading and interpreting architectural and electrical drawings.
