Desktop Support Technician

Our Fort Worth client company is seeking a Desktop Support Technician with 1-3+ years of hands-on experience in a desktop support, IT help desk, or similar technical support role. The ideal candidate will have strong technical skills in MS Office, MS 365 Administration, and MS Active Directory and be able to:

• Provide support for desktops, laptops, printers, and related peripherals, including installation, configuration, and troubleshooting.
• Deploy, relocate, upgrade, and replace desktop and laptop systems.
• Assist with network connectivity, data cabling, phone deployments, workstation moves, and related infrastructure support.
• Assist with employee onboarding and offboarding, including workstation and email setup and asset recovery.
• Maintain desktop systems by applying patches, updates, and repairs.
• Support manufacturing, engineering, testing, and quality-related computer systems.
• Manage internal tickets and calls.
• Participate in hardware and software rollouts and technology upgrades.
• Monitor IT infrastructure and applications for service interruptions and security incidents, escalating issues as needed to senior IT staff.
• Use various resources including Copilot AI-assisted troubleshooting tools to diagnose and resolve technical issues.
• Support end users while communicating technical issues and resolutions effectively.
• Support company cybersecurity, compliance, and audit requirements, as well as endpoint management and security tools.
• Maintain IT asset inventory records and assist with equipment lifecycle management.
