Desktop Support Technician

Description

TEKsystems is looking for someone to fill a desktop support position in Northern KY. Will be based in the Ft. Mitchell area. This position will provide desktop support to the remote and onsite staff for all locations in and around the NKY area. Some travel will be required, using a state vehicle. Along with desktop duties which include working on desktops, laptops, tablets, software, copiers, printers and phones, the candidate may be required to assist with routers and network switches as needed.

Skills/experience needed:

 Excellent customer service and communication skills

 Computer equipment configuration, setup, and installation

 Experience in ticketing software (preferably ServiceNow)

 Ability to work under pressure

 Hardware and software experience

Customer service is huge, excellent communication, team player, and someone that is willing to ask for help when needed. Interpersonal and teamworking skills are extremely important. If they don't get the impression that the Tech will be customer focused, they will note hire.

This is a Contract position based out of Fort Mitchell, KY.

The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $23.00/hr.

Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.
