    Position Overview:
    • Seeking a Desktop Support Technician to assist with an enterprise-wide technology refresh initiative.
    • This hands-on role will support the deployment, staging, imaging, installation, and replacement of Windows workstations and peripherals across corporate and branch locations.
    • The ideal consultant has experience supporting desktop hardware deployments, Windows imaging, Active Directory, and enterprise device lifecycle management.
    • This position requires strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to provide excellent customer service while working directly with end users.
    • The ideal consultant is a dependable, hands-on Desktop Support Technician who enjoys working in fast-paced deployment environments.
    • Have experience supporting enterprise technology refresh initiatives, are comfortable traveling between branch locations when needed, and take pride in delivering a seamless end-user experience.
    • They are organized, customer-focused, and capable of managing multiple device deployments while maintaining accurate inventory and documentation.

    Responsibilities:
    • Deploy, configure, and install Windows 10 / 11 laptops and desktops.
    • Receive, inventory, and prepare new hardware for deployment.
    • Unbox, stage, image, and configure workstations for end users.
    • Join devices to Active Directory and verify proper Organizational Unit (OU) placement.
    • Install and configure required software using enterprise deployment tools.
    • Decommission and securely prepare end-of-life devices according to company policies.
    • Install and configure peripherals including monitors, docking stations, keyboards, mice, and other accessories.
    • Support onsite technology refresh activities at branch locations, including:
      • Removing existing workstations.
      • Installing replacement equipment.
      • Cable management and workstation organization.
      • Testing equipment prior to handoff.
    • Maintain accurate hardware inventory and asset tracking.
    • Organize and maintain the deployment lab, including staging areas and inventory.
    • Receive shipments, unpack equipment, and assist with hardware logistics.
    • Troubleshoot basic hardware and software issues during deployment.
    • Deliver excellent customer service while minimizing disruption to branch operations.

    Required Qualifications:
    • 2+ years of desktop support, deployment, or field support experience.
    • Experience deploying Windows 10 and / or Windows 11 workstations.
    • Experience imaging computers using SCCM, MDT, Intune, or similar deployment tools.
    • Working knowledge of Microsoft Active Directory, including domain joins and Organizational Units (OUs).
    • Experience installing desktop hardware and peripherals.
    • Familiarity with enterprise technology refresh or hardware deployment projects.
    • Basic troubleshooting skills for Windows hardware and software issues.
    • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
    • Excellent communication and customer service skills.
    • Windows Deployment & Imaging – Experience imaging, configuring, and deploying Windows workstations using SCCM, Intune, MDT, or similar tools.
    • Desktop Support & Hardware Installation – Hands-on experience installing laptops, desktops, docking stations, monitors, and peripherals while troubleshooting deployment issues.
    • Active Directory & Technology Refresh Experience – Experience joining devices to the domain, managing Active Directory OUs, and supporting large-scale PC refresh or hardware lifecycle projects.
    • Technical Environment: Windows 10 & Windows 11, Active Directory, SCCM / Microsoft Endpoint Configuration Manager, Microsoft Intune, MDT (Microsoft Deployment Toolkit), Microsoft Office, Desktop & Laptop Hardware, Docking Stations, Monitors & Peripherals, Asset Management Systems

    Preferred Skills:
    • Experience supporting financial services or enterprise environments.
    • Familiarity with Microsoft Endpoint Configuration Manager (SCCM) or Microsoft Intune.
    • Experience with hardware asset management or inventory tracking.
    • CompTIA A+ Certification or equivalent experience.
