Desktop Support Technician I - Atlanta, Georgia
Short-term contract (possible extension reviewed monthly)
Pay Rate: $20.50-$23.50 per hour
Desktop Support Technician I:
This role is to cover for an associate that is on leave. This assignment is potentially short term and will be reviewed monthly for possible extensions. Onsite Monday - Friday - Flexible on the hours, will discuss on the interview.
- Providing hardware/software support services to onsite clients including break/fix Implement virus detection and eradication procedures
- Diagnose end-user system failures and implement repair solutions Diagnose printer and other peripheral device failures and implement repair solutions
- Troubleshoot network devices to ensure connectivity from the PC to the Network
- Verification of services provided by non-senior level Technicians and offering mentoring to peers as required
- Customer Service
- Meet or exceed SLAs for all Deskside support activities
- Apply communication skills, problem solving, and technical know-how with a focus on service excellence
- Execute End User Compute Deskside Projects and Deployment Activities as required
- Advises projects regarding existing DWP Deskside services
- Contribute to various DWP projects and deployments such as PC lifecycle replacements or any kind of migration activities in DWP e.g., OneDrive for Business, office 2016 rollout, etc.
- Execute activities as a result of project and deployment requirements
