What's In Store For You
Engagement: W2 only (no C2C/1099).
Work model: Fully onsite in Charleston, South Carolina.
Standard business hours with occasional evening or weekend support.
Primary assignment at one location while supporting a total of five nearby sites.
Approximately 10–15% local travel, with other supported locations up to an hour away; mileage is reimbursed.
Year-long assignment offering exposure to enterprise desktop support, endpoint security, networking, mobility, and manufacturing IT operations.
How You Will Make An Impact
Serve as a primary onsite IT resource for end users, resolving desktop, laptop, mobile device, printer, software, and connectivity issues.
Manage incidents and service requests through the ticketing system while escalating more complex infrastructure issues appropriately.
Configure, image, deploy, replace, and troubleshoot Windows computers and manufacturing workstations.
Perform Active Directory administration, device configuration, access setup, and domain-related support.
Help maintain endpoint security and management technologies, including Tanium and CrowdStrike.
Support mobile devices, SOTI device management, Zoom Rooms, Microsoft 365, and printing services.
Maintain accurate asset inventories and assist with endpoint, Active Directory, security, backup, and access audits.
Participate in local IT projects, infrastructure upgrades, equipment installations, and moves/adds/changes.
Educate users on corporate technology standards, security requirements, device usage, and available IT services.
Are You an Experienced Desktop Support Professional Ready to Make an Impact?
Bring 0–3 years of desktop support, deskside support, or IT help desk experience.
Have hands-on familiarity with Windows 10/11 and troubleshooting end-user hardware and software.
Understand Active Directory, including basic computer and user account administration.
Have foundational knowledge of TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, and network connectivity troubleshooting.
Be comfortable configuring, deploying, imaging, and replacing desktops and laptops.
Exposure to endpoint security or management platforms such as Tanium and CrowdStrike is highly valuable.
Experience with Microsoft 365, mobile device support, printing, and collaboration technology is beneficial.
Manufacturing or large enterprise IT support experience is preferred.
An associate degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related discipline is preferred; equivalent practical experience may also qualify.
Bring strong customer service, troubleshooting, communication, documentation, and time-management skills.
Be comfortable working independently onsite while following established IT and cybersecurity procedures.
