Job Title: Desktop Technician 2
Location: El Dorado Hills, CA
Duration: 3+ Months (Contract)
Pay Rate: $28/hr on W2
Education: Associate's degree in a technical field (or equivalent experience)
Day-to-Day Responsibilities:
- Assist in software and hardware life cycle management: research, packaging, quality assurance, and deployment preparation
- Set up new users: desktop configuration, email accounts, LDAP accounts, VPN accounts
- Support local and remote employees with desktop issues, account issues, and access to internal services
- Troubleshoot software issues on employee desktops and laptops
Required Skills (Non-Negotiable):- Knowledge of Windows AND Mac OS
- Experience with desktop installations and configurations
- Troubleshooting desktop and mobile devices
Preferred Skills (Nice to Have):- Active Directory
- Customer Service experience
- Device Imaging
