Division New Millennium Overview
Produce accurate fabrication bills of material and erection plans for use in fabricating and erecting New Millennium products on large, heavy structural, deck only projects.
Responsibilities
• Prepare deck layout plans and sections using AutoCAD
• Prepare RFI's and coordinate project details with customers, steel detailers, engineers, and others
• Detail projects with multiple submittals and sequences with extended project building time-frames
Handle multiple projects simultaneously in fast-paced, production-driven environment
Meet schedules for assigned projects
Other duties as necessary
Qualifications
Required:
• Good verbal and written communication skills
• Fluent with AutoCAD
• Ability to visualize how elements fit together in 3D when working with 2D drawings
• Willingness to go beyond typical duties to assist co-workers and customers
CAD related degrees and/or experience
Preferred:
• Prior structural, joist, and/or deck detailing experience
