Your New Role

  • Design and implement complete detention equipment systems, including glazing, doors, frames, hardware, and detention furnishings.

  • Interpret architectural and engineering drawings and translate design intent into practical field applications.

  • Prepare detailed design drawings and technical documentation.

  • Compile and submit project submittals for architects, consultants, and project owners.

  • Develop and submit Requests for Information (RFIs) to resolve design or contract document discrepancies.

  • Collaborate closely with project managers, vendors, and internal teams throughout each project.

  • Design systems that balance cost efficiency, reliability, and customer needs.

  • Support procurement activities for detention equipment.

  • Participate in project reviews to help maintain design compliance and project schedules.

  • Perform general office and administrative tasks as needed.

  • Travel to project sites as required.

  • Perform other duties assigned to support successful project completion.

  • Location: Murfreesboro, TN.

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Construction Management, or related industry experience.

  • 1 to 2 years of related engineering or construction experience preferred.

  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite, Microsoft Project, Adobe or Bluebeam, and Timberline or similar software.

  • AutoCAD experience preferred.

  • Revit experience preferred.

  • Construction industry knowledge preferred.

  • Valid driver's license.

  • OSHA-10 certification.

  • Ability to interpret architectural and engineering drawings.

  • Strong communication, organization, and problem-solving skills.

  • Ability to lift up to 20 pounds.

  • Willingness to travel to project sites as needed.

  • Ability to work outside normal business hours when project demands require.
