Job Title: Dev/Research Engineer
Location: Tucson, AZ (85745)
Duration: 12 Months+
Daily Schedule: Standard Schedule: Monday-Friday 7:00 AM to 3:30 PM

Job Description:
Position s Contributions to Work Group:
- Support test and validation activities on large mining equipment.
- Test validation validating the functionality of software and controls features; common area carrying out requirements; system level testing; working with mechanics, instrumentation technicians and operators

Typical Day or Week in the Role
Typical task breakdown:
- Plan, execute, and document machine level software testing.

Interaction with team:
- Daily interaction with engineers, mechanics, operators, instrumentation technicians, supply chain, and logistics.

Team Structure
- 3 team leaders, several senior engineers, and several junior engineers.

Work environment:
- 20% office and 80% on your feet either in the shop or local field.
- PPE gear boots, glasses, uniform

Candidate Requirements
Education & Experience Required:
- Years of experience: 1-2 years;
- Degree requirement: B.S. engineering
- No 2 year degrees,
- Do you accept internships as job experience: Yes
- Are there past or additional job titles or roles that would provide comparable background to this role: mechanic, construction, landscaping
