Your Role

Akkodis is seeking a Developer-Full Stack Senior for a Contract with a client in Mclean, VA. The ideal candidate will design and develop scalable Java applications using Spring Boot, REST APIs, and database technologies to support business-critical solutions.

Rate Range: $80/Hour to $85/Hour; The rate may be negotiable based on experience, education, geographic location, and other factors.

Developer-Full Stack Senior Responsibilities include:

• Design, develop, and maintain scalable Java-based applications using Core Java, Spring Framework, and Spring Boot.

• Build and consume RESTful APIs while ensuring application performance, security, and reliability.

• Write efficient SQL queries and work with relational databases to support business and application requirements.

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams in an Agile/Scrum environment to deliver high-quality software solutions.

• Troubleshoot, debug, and optimize applications to improve functionality, responsiveness, and user experience.

• Develop and execute unit tests using JUnit/Mockito, maintain code quality standards, and participate in code reviews.

Required Qualifications:

• Bachelor's or master's degree in computer science, Software Engineering, or a related technical field.

• 5+ years of professional software development experience, including 4+ years of hands-on Java development.

• Strong proficiency in Core Java, Java 8+, Spring Framework, Spring Boot, REST API development, SQL, and database querying.

• Experience working with Gradle, Jenkins, GitHub/Bitbucket, and Agile/Scrum development methodologies.

Pay Details: $80.00 to $85.00 per hour
