Your Role

Akkodis is seeking a Developer-Full Stack Senior for a Contract with a client in McLean, VA. This position is responsible for delivering reliable testing solutions, maintaining CI/CD pipelines, and driving continuous improvement through code coverage analysis.

Rate Range: $85/hour to $90/hour; The rate may be negotiable based on experience, education, geographic location, and other factors.

Developer-Full Stack Senior Job Responsibilities include:

• Design, develop, and maintain automated testing solutions using JUnit and other testing frameworks to ensure high-quality software delivery.

• Write, execute, and optimize unit and integration tests, maintaining strong test coverage across Java and Spring Boot applications.

• Develop and support Jenkins CI/CD pipelines for automated build, testing, and deployment processes.

• Utilize JaCoCo to monitor code coverage, generate reports, and identify opportunities for code quality improvements.

• Participate in code reviews, pull request evaluations, and technical discussions to ensure stable, scalable, and maintainable solutions.

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to troubleshoot issues, resolve technical challenges, and drive continuous improvement initiatives.

Required Qualifications:

• Bachelor's or master's degree in computer science, Information Technology, Software Engineering, Mathematics, or a related quantitative discipline.

• 5+ years of professional software development experience with strong expertise in Java and automated testing frameworks.

• Proven experience with Java, Spring Boot, JUnit, Jenkins, and JaCoCo, with the ability to design and implement automated testing solutions and CI/CD pipelines.

• Strong problem-solving and communication skills.

Pay Details: $85.00 to $90.00 per hour
