Your Role

Akkodis is seeking a Developer-Full Stack Senior for a Contract with a client in McLean, VA. The ideal candidate will support the development and maintenance of financial analytics and risk monitoring systems while ensuring adherence to coding standards and best practices.

Rate Range: $85/Hour to $90/Hour; The rate may be negotiable based on experience, education, geographic location, and other factors.

Developer-Full Stack Senior Responsibilities include:

• Design, develop, and maintain software solutions supporting financial modeling, analytics, and research functions.

• Build and enhance applications used for monitoring and managing market and credit risk activities.

• Develop new features, review code changes, and ensure adherence to software development with the best practices and standards.

• Collaborate with financial research and engineering teams to gather requirements and translate business needs into technical solutions.

• Utilize Python, SQL, and web technologies to create scalable analytics applications and data-driven solutions.

• Support application deployment, troubleshooting, maintenance, and continuous improvement of existing systems.

Required Qualifications:

• Master's degree in computer science, Software Engineering, or a related technical field with 2 years of experience, OR bachelor's degree in computer science, Software Engineering, or a related technical field with 5 years of experience developing analytics software applications.

• Proven experience in software development using Python, including data processing libraries such as Pandas and NumPy.

• Strong understanding of quantitative finance, web technologies (HTML, CSS, JavaScript), and database development using SQL.

• Experience developing and supporting web-based applications using frameworks such as Flask, Dash, React, or similar technologies.

Pay Details: $85.00 to $90.00 per hour
