Reporting to IT Department Leadership, the Developer III is responsible for the design, planning, development and maintaining of internal and external applications. This role is responsible for leading the development efforts in team projects. The Developer III is expected to lead by example. The Developer III will mentor coding activities throughout all aspects of the solution development to produce efficient and high-quality solutions.

Education & Requirements
Seven (7) years of experience developing multi-tiered applications Seven (7) years with SQL Server development Five (5) years of experience with software architecture and design concepts Experience working in a team-oriented, collaborative environment Experience transforming requirements into Design Concepts and ERDs Experience in web service development across multiple protocols (SOAP, REST, WSDL, JSON, MSMQ) Bachelors degree from an accredited institution required Masters degree from an accredited institution preferred
Key Qualifications
Strong comprehensive understanding and knowledge in the following areas:
Database structures, theories, principles, and practices Professional software engineering practices and best practices for the full software development life cycle (SDLC), including coding standards, code reviews, source control management, build processes, testing, and operations Software development languages: C# & Java Web UI development (JavaScript, JQuery, CSS, and HTML) SSIS and SSRS development Applicable data privacy practices and laws Healthcare systems and healthcare databases is preferred
Highly skilled in developing and optimizing T-SQL (DDL, DML, DCL) queries with MS SQL Server 2016 Strong troubleshooting skills Good written and oral communication skills Strong technical documentation skills Good interpersonal skills Proven analytical and problem-solving skills Proven ability to:
Handle multiple projects in a deadline-driven environment Be highly self-motivated and self-directed Show keen attention to detail Effectively prioritize and execute tasks in a high-pressure environment
