Must have 3-5 years of experience, with strong expertise in Java (version 17+) and Spring Book using microservice architecture.
The role will be focused on maintenance, bug fixes, and product enhancements.
Candidates should be comfortable leveraging AI assist coding tools while demonstrating strong core code skills.

Position Overview:
Were looking for an Junior-level Coder with 35 years of prior experience to join our fast-moving team.
Youll be our go-to builder for rapid prototypes, MVPs, and experimental web tools, leveraging the latest AI coding assistants (ChatGPT, GitHub Copilot, etc.).

AI-Assisted Development :
Active, daily use of AI-powered development tools (Cursor, Windsurf, Claude Code, GitHub Copilot, or similar).
Understanding of prompt engineering, token management, and AI-augmented system design patterns.
Use AI-powered coding tools to build and iterate web apps, APIs, and backend services.
Engineer prompts to get the best results from AI assistants for coding tasks.
Rapidly prototype new features, tools, and MVPs based on team and customer feedback.
Debug and refine AI-generated code for reliability and usability.
Experiment with emerging AI tools and workflows to optimize the dev process.
Collaborate with product, design, and engineering teams to ship projects fast.
Document your process and share learnings with the team.

Required Skills :
35 years prior experience in software development, web projects, or related roles.
Basic coding knowledge in Java, JavaScript and Python.
Familiarity with web frameworks (Angular, React, Flask, Express, etc.).
Experience using AI coding assistants (ChatGPT, Copilot, etc.) in real projects.
Comfortable engineering prompts to guide AI coding output.
Quick learner, curious, and not afraid to experiment.
Able to debug, test, and iterate on code independently.
Experience with REST APIs and NoSQL database integrations.
Familiarity with other languages or frameworks (TypeScript, Next.js, Django).
Previous hackathon, bootcamp, or indie project experience.
Experience in automation, low-code/no-code tools, or creative coding.

The application is hosted on AWS Cloud
Resource will be part of Agile team and will be assigned 8 to 10 story points with 2 weeks sprint on application enhancement
Mostly backend development some angular exposure is added advantage
GitHub Copilot is highly preferred
Some production support is required if needed during deployment
Python is nice to have
