Your Role

Akkodis is seeking a Developer for a Contract with a client in San Jose, CA (Remote). The ideal candidate is responsible for designing AI-powered applications, implementing RAG frameworks with LLM integration, and developing scalable APIs and microservices for enterprise AI use cases.

Rate Range: $53/Hour to $60/Hour; The rate may be negotiable based on experience, education, geographic location, and other factors.

Developer Job Responsibilities include:

• Design, develop, and deploy AI/ML and Generative AI applications using Python and AWS services.

• Build AI-powered assistants, chatbots, copilots, and autonomous AI agents leveraging LLMs such as GPT, Claude, Gemini, and Llama.

• Develop and implement Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG) solutions using vector databases to improve AI response accuracy.

• Create and maintain REST APIs, microservices, and scalable cloud-based architectures for enterprise AI applications.

• Optimize AI models for performance, scalability, latency, and cost while ensuring adherence to security, privacy, and Responsible AI standards.

• Collaborate with product managers, architects, and data scientists to deliver end-to-end AI solutions throughout the software development lifecycle.

Required Qualifications:

• Bachelor's or master's degree in computer science, Information Technology, Data Science, Artificial Intelligence, or a related technical field.

• 6-8 years of experience in software development with strong expertise in AI/ML, Generative AI, Python, and AWS cloud services.

• Hands-on experience designing and deploying AI/ML solutions, including RAG architectures, vector databases, and integration of LLMs such as GPT, Claude, Gemini, or Llama.

• Strong proficiency in developing scalable REST APIs, microservices, and cloud-native AI applications, with a focus on security, performance optimization, and Responsible AI practices.

Pay Details: $53.00 to $60.00 per hour
