Minimum qualifications:

Preferred qualifications:

  • Master’s degree in Business, Statistics, Mathematics, Economics, Engineering or Applied Science, or a related field.
  • 8 years of experience managing projects and working with analytics, software coding, or customer-side web technologies.
  • Familiarity with the Google Play Store.
  • Ability to work in team-oriented settings.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills with experience executing operational initiatives.

About Play
As a part of Google Play, you will contribute to making it easy for Android users worldwide to discover applications, games, books, and more.
Google Play is available on Android smartphones and tablets, as well as devices running Chrome OS, Wear OS, and Android TV.As a part of this organization, you will serve as developer’s primary Point of Contact (POCs) for technical and product engagements, developer operations and developer education (Help center, code labs and product docs). You will drive product and infrastructure improvements by converting developer friction into strategic insights for engineering road-maps, align technical growth with developer priorities to drive long-term business impact for Google play and its Application developers.
The US base salary range for this full-time position is $141,000-$204,000 + bonus + equity + benefits. Our salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training. Responsibilities

  • Develop an in-depth understanding of Google Play’s products/solutions and underlying architectures to create workflows, processes and tools to meet the Play program requirements.
  • Manage operational performance of third party vendor operations to ensure Play is able to deliver high-quality enforcement and appeals processes at scale.
  • Build advanced product knowledge with specialization in one or more components, including dependencies on other products and teams.
  • Serve as consultant and subject matter expert for internal stakeholders in engineering, partnership, developer organisations to improve Plays products, tools and services.
  • Collaborate with external developers to drive adoption of high-quality Play features and services, leveraging developer insights to create comprehensive written guidance and best practices.
