Development & Communications ManagerThe League is seeking a dedicated, hard‑working and self‑motivated Development & Communications Manager. The ideal candidate should have a strong work ethic, excellent problem-solving skills, and be motivated to serve our community. Preference for a qualified person with a disability.ResponsibilitiesLead or support special fundraising events, planned stewardship activities, semi‑annual appeals, annual giving opportunities and event sponsorship collateral.Assist in the development, implementation and maintenance of The League's Annual Marketing and Development Plans.Assist in developing The League's Annual Report content.Manage donor database and be responsible for timely acknowledgements and reports.Manage The League's social media pages, website, newsletter and email blasts.Collaborate with departments to design creative marketing collateral while maintaining stock of brochures and other printed collateral.Identify, cultivate and secure community partners to engage in the organization's mission.QualificationsBachelor's degree in related fields or an equivalent combination of education and experience.Experience managing WYSIWYG/plug‑and‑play websites and social media (2+ years).Experience in planning and executing fundraising events (2+ years).Experience working with Canva, Adobe Suite or similar design programs preferred (2+ years).Prefer a qualified person with a disability (preference as identified by state/federal funding source).Benefits$4/mo employee Health Insurance ($48.00 a year) with a $3,000 Health Reimbursement Account.FREE employee dental coverage, long‑term disability, and salary‑based group life insurance.Optional benefits include vision, voluntary life insurance, critical illness and accident insurance.Bonus structure based on employee and program performance.Employee retirement investments can begin on day 1 and after two Decembers, the company will contribute 4.5% of the employee's gross salary into a Simplified Employer (Retirement) Plan.14 paid holidays, paid vacation after 6 months, 2 personal days upon hire, and sick time accrues monthly.Salary$48,000 - $52,000 based on experience.Application Deadline: Until Filled.
