Position Summary: The Development Coordinator is an important member of Dogwood's Advancement team. Reporting to and working closely with the Development Director, you'll support multi-channel fundraising activities such as digital and direct mail campaigns, special events, and grants. Key responsibilities include gift processing, donor recognition and communication, research, reporting, and event coordination. The role is ideal for a mission-driven professional looking to deepen experience in fundraising and nonprofit development with a small, collaborative team.
Location & Travel: The coordinator must be based in the Asheville area. While our team is remote and widely disbursed, Asheville is Dogwood's home. We provide a coworking membership for Asheville-based staff. Or, work can be done from home. The Development Coordinator is required to have a valid NC drivers license and reliable personal transportation in order to fulfill weekly, or more, logistical and operational tasks.
