The Coordinator, Development performs a variety of tasks related to administrative assistance, donor stewardship, and fundraising support. Working closely with the Foundation VP, Director of Development, and other team members, plays a vital role in supporting PIH Health Foundation's fundraising and donor relations initiatives to advance healthcare in our community.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

1. Safeguards and preserves the confidentiality of patient’s protected health information in accordance with State and Federal (HIPAA) regulatory requirements, hospital, and departmental policies.
2. Ensures a safe patient environment and adherence to safety practices per policy.
3. With consideration to age, employee utilizes the approved process to resolve biophysical, psychological, educational, and environmental needs of patient/significant other when administering care.
4. Essential to the provision of community benefits as an expression of our charitable healthcare mission and purpose, each manager/supervisor is committed to the delivery of high quality, compassionate healthcare and is further committed to supporting the strategic direction of community benefits within PIH Health and its affiliates. 5. Provide support for fundraising campaigns and donor recognition programs
6. Coordinate logistics for fundraising activities and committee meetings
7. Assist with completing accurate contact reports for the team in Blackbaud Raiser’s Edge when interactions occur
8. Support initiatives, within annual giving and donor relations areas, from initial planning and
9. coordination stages to implementation and follow through
10. Collaborate with marketing team on fundraising communications and materials
11. Work with administrative staff in answering phone calls
12. Performs other duties as assigned

Required Experience

Required:

  • 1 to 2 years’ experience in an administrative or nonprofit development role

 Preferred:

  • Associates degree will be considered in lieu of 3 to 5 years of experience
  •  Experience with Blackbaud Raiser’s Edge/RENXT software
