Key Responsibilities Plan, develop, implement, administer, and sustain an aggressive development plan targeting a specific geographical area and support the Command's budget and programs.Solicit donations and cultivate relationships with donors to secure new income sources, responding to donor inquiries accurately, timely, and professionally.Perform short- and long-term program planning, develop recommendations, and set financial development goals for each program.Prepare an annual goal of dollars to be raised and gifts to be obtained, accounting for revenue goals for existing and new sources of income.Develop and coordinate fundraising appeals, identify innovative direct mail methods, and work with mailing service firms to ensure productivity and efficiency.Physical Requirements and Working Conditions Must meet attendance requirements and be willing to travel to various locations for public meetings, conferences, etc. Work may be performed in a normal office environment with limited physical discomforts related to weather or environmental factors.Employee Benefits Health, Dental, and Vision InsurancePaid Time Off and Holiday PayLife InsuranceRetirement PlanWhat We Are Looking For Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university in business or a related field.Seven (7) years of experience in a comprehensive development program with progressively responsible experience and demonstrated success in major gifts fundraising.Or any equivalent combination of training and experience which provides the required knowledge, skills, and abilities.Certifications Valid State Driver's LicenseNSFRE Certification preferredEqual Opportunity Employer: Veterans/Disabled#J-18808-Ljbffr
