Position Summary: The University of Alabama at Birmingham (UAB) seeks a Director of Development for the Heersink School of Medicine/UAB Medicine team. The primary responsibilities are to develop and implement strategies for identifying, cultivating, and successfully soliciting individuals, corporations and foundations and grateful patients for major gifts. The position will work with the Department Chairs and others within the Departments/Divisions to manage the planning and execution of appropriate cultivation and stewardship special events, including planning and hosting visits by donors and their representatives. The Director of Development will support specific units on the team. This position reports directly to the Senior Director of Development II. This position is full-time, hybrid eligible after the probationary period.
Key Duties & Responsibilities:
Salary Pay Range: $70,425 – $97,000
