Working Pattern Hybrid/Onsite in office 3 days/weekWorking location Indianapolis, INAs a Development Engineer with the F130 Program at Rolls‑Royce, you will play a key role in coordination of the cross‑functional product team in assembly, test, and certification of the F130 Engine in support of the B‑52 engine replacement program. Understand and articulate risks and opportunities to program leadership to support decision making.Ensure project risks (technical, cost, supply chain, and timescale) are identified, managed, and escalated in accordance with the risk management plan.Manage and deliver the necessary compliance documents, from requirements capture through to evidence of compliance via appropriate software / tools.Plan, manage, and develop engine/sub‑system certification/qualification plans and participate in product introduction gated reviews.Lead integration activities between project teams and test to ensure instrumentation, controls, data acquisition, test limits, and test data recording are completed.Who we're looking for: At Rolls‑Royce we put safety first, do the right thing, keep it simple and make a difference.Basic Requirements: Bachelor's Degree in Engineering with 1 year of experience ORMaster's degree in Engineering ORJD/PhD in EngineeringPreferred: Exceptional interpersonal skills to work effectively in a team environmentAn excellent command of the English language for both written and oral communications4 years of experience in technical project management or development engineeringExperience interfacing with customers on technical program issuesGas turbine engine test, installation, verification, and performance experienceExperience with the Rolls‑Royce Indianapolis EVMS systems and Microsoft ProjectExperience managing and interpreting requirements, and developing test plansExperience leading a cross‑discipline, cross‑functional development teamExperience with product configuration control, quality systems, trouble reporting and root cause / corrective actionExperience with structured verificationWhat we offer: We offer excellent development opportunities, a competitive salary, and exceptional benefits.
