Introduction
We are looking for a creative Electronics Engineer to join an exciting and dynamic team in designing, developing, testing, and troubleshooting complex avionics packages.
Location: This position does not support teleworking. You will need to live near our Lockheed Martin Space facility and be expected to work a flexible 9x80 schedule in the office full-time.
What does this role look like?
We want you to support the Fleet Ballistic Missile (FBM) Program on the D5LE Avionics Development Team. You will lead the re-design, production, and deployment of heritage D5 Avionics packages to support the sustainment of the D5LE missile. This effort includes designing electrical components and packages from early prototype builds to development units, developing testing methodology for proof of design, bringing these designs through various technical reviews, and into full rate production. This role will work closely with the D5LE Tactical Avionics Subsystem CPE, D5LE Chief Engineer, and Navy technical partner.
Note: US citizenship and ability to obtain Top Secret clearance is required.

Basic Qualifications
Bachelor of Science degree in Electrical Engineering or a closely related STEM field from an accredited university
Prior professional experience with electrical hardware design or a closely related discipline.
Deep expertise across multiple electrical engineering domains, that could include:
Electrical hardware design for development and production phases in aerospace or a similar industry
Complex electrical schematics for circuit card assemblies (CCA), harnesses, and system-level interconnects
Root-cause analysis and corrective action for hardware failures
Must be a US Citizen; must be able to obtain/maintain a DoD Top Secret clearance

Full-Time Salary Range: $145100.00 - $269500.00
