DEVELOPMENT/FUNDRAISING ASSISTANT Job Number: 164 Salary: $20.45 Department: Development (432) Summary of Job Responsibilities: The Development Assistant supports ASUCLA’s fundraising, donor engagement, and development operations. This entry-level role focuses on learning ASUCLA’s mission, departments, and fundraising systems while providing essential administrative, research, and campaign support. Due to the long-term nature of fundraising, grant cycles, and donor relationships, this position is intended for students who can commit to 3–4 consecutive academic quarters, supporting continuity and sustained impact. Key Responsibilities:
Student Learning Outcomes: The Development Assistant will have the unique opportunity to learn about the growing and diverse field of Development (also known as fundraising or philanthropy) within the nonprofit and higher education sectors. This position will expose you to procedural, institutional, technical and financial knowledge related to nonprofit fundraising.
