Job Description
An opportunity to join a fastgrowing, private real estate investment and development platform that is scaling its essential retail development business across highgrowth Sunbelt markets. This Development Manager role is executionfocused, partnering closely with a senior market leader to deliver a high volume of singletenant and smallformat retail projects from entitlement through disposition.The Development Manager will report directly to a senior Development Leader and will take full ownership of project execution for retail developments sourced by the platform. - Lead projects through entitlement, permitting, design, construction, leaseup, and sale
- Coordinate architects, engineers, contractors, consultants, and municipalities to keep projects on schedule
- Manage development budgets, schedules, and reporting across multiple active projects
- Act as the execution partner to senior originators, allowing them to stay focused on sourcing
- Oversee construction administration, change orders, and risk mitigation
- Support tenant coordination during development, ensuring retailer requirements are met
- Deliver projects efficiently within a typical 12-14 month development cycle

The Successful Applicant
For the Development Manager role, we are seeking: - 5-10+ years of experience in retail real estate development or commercial project management
- Handson experience delivering singletenant net lease or essential retail projects (multi tenant is great as well)
- Strong understanding of entitlement, zoning, permitting, and construction processes
- Experience with gas stations, convenience retail, or quickservice restaurant developments strongly preferred
- Ability to manage multiple projects in a fastpaced, highvolume environment
- Highly organized, executionoriented, and comfortable owning the full development lifecycle
What's on Offer- Base salary around $150,000, with flexibility for the right candidate
- Target total compensation of $200,000-$220,000 allin
- Performancebased bonus and participation in development fees
