Job Details

Job Duties:
  • Develop and execute comprehensive fundraising strategies that grow annual giving, major gifts, corporate partnerships, grants, and donor engagement.
  • Manage and cultivate a portfolio of major donors and prospective supporters while building long-term philanthropic relationships.
  • Partner with executive leadership and board members to identify, cultivate, solicit, and steward high-capacity donors.
  • Establish fundraising goals, performance metrics, and reporting processes to monitor progress and maximize revenue growth.
  • Oversee donor database strategy, CRM management, reporting, and data integrity to support fundraising initiatives.
  • Provide strategic oversight for fundraising events, ensuring they support donor cultivation, community engagement, and revenue objectives.
  • Build and strengthen partnerships with community organizations, businesses, foundations, and local stakeholders.
  • Develop strategies that increase organizational visibility and deepen community engagement.
  • Lead and mentor development staff while fostering collaboration across fundraising, marketing, events, and program teams.
  • Manage departmental budgets, forecasting, and resource allocation while identifying opportunities for continuous improvement.

Job Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree required. Master's degree preferred.
  • 5+ years of progressive leadership experience in nonprofit development, philanthropy, fundraising, or a related field.
  • Demonstrated success securing major gifts and developing high-value donor relationships with measurable fundraising results.
  • Experience developing and executing strategic fundraising plans that increase philanthropic revenue and donor engagement.
  • Strong background managing donor databases, CRM platforms, fundraising analytics, and performance reporting.
  • Ability to work occasional evenings and weekends in support of donor meetings, fundraising events, and community engagement activities.
  • Must successfully complete required background screenings, including a physical, TB test, and drug test.
  • Must be certified, or able to become certified, in CPR and First Aid.
