We are seeking an experienced development professional to help grow our fundraising efforts, deepen donor relationships, and build sustainable pathways for community engagement and organizational growth.

This role offers meaningful visibility across the organization and the opportunity to directly influence both fundraising results and community impact.

Job Details

Job Duties:
  • Lead fundraising strategy across major gifts, annual giving, donor engagement, and stewardship.
  • Manage a portfolio of major donors and prospects, including cultivation, solicitation, and stewardship.
  • Partner with executive leadership and board members on major gift opportunities.
  • Build and strengthen donor pipelines and fundraising campaigns.
  • Oversee fundraising events and ensure they support donor engagement and revenue goals.
  • Develop relationships with community organizations, businesses, and strategic partners.
  • Lead community engagement initiatives that expand organizational visibility and impact.
  • Oversee donor CRM systems, reporting, and fundraising analytics.
  • Manage development budgets, goals, and performance metrics.
  • Supervise development staff, consultants, and external partners.
  • Collaborate with marketing, programs, and leadership to align fundraising with organizational priorities.

Job Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree required; Master's degree preferred.
  • 8+ years of progressive nonprofit development, fundraising, philanthropy, or advancement experience.
  • Proven success with major gifts and donor relationship management.
  • Experience managing a donor portfolio and fundraising pipeline.
  • Experience partnering with executive leadership and/or boards.
  • Experience overseeing fundraising events and donor engagement initiatives.
  • Must pass required background screening, including physical, TB test, and drug screening.
  • Must be certified or able to become certified in CPR and First Aid.
  • Valid California driver's license required.
