Development Trim Coordinator

POSITION SUMMARY: The Trims Coordinator will partner with various departments in the company to manage trims and BOM to overseas garment manufacturering. This person will work closely with Design, Product Development, Production, and Technical Design. 

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES: 
•    Source and develop trims aligned with Design’s seasonal inspiration.
•    Partner with existing vendors to present new seasonal trim options to Design.
•   Create and maintain seasonal trim development purchase orders in PLM.
•    Communicate daily with suppliers on order status.
•    Maintain accurate order dates and tracking information in PLM system.
•    Collaborate with the Product Development team to ensure information and pricing are accurate.

QUALIFICATIONS:

•    1+ years of experience in Trim or Product Development.
•    Experience with woven, cut-and-sew, denim, leather, and novelty trim components for RTW
•    Experience with PLM systems.
•    Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet tight deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
•    Clear, concise communication with cross-functional teams, including Design, Production, Tech, and Fabric.
•    Strong communication skills when working with overseas vendors.
•    Ability to work independently and manage workload effectively.
•    Solution-oriented approach.
•    Familiarity with contemporary fashion aesthetics.At least 2 years of experience in Production

BENEFITS:
•    $60,000 - $70,000 base salary (This range represents the low and high end of the anticipated base salary range for this NYC - based position. The base salary will depend on numerous factors such as: experience and qualifications for the role, experience level, skillset, and balancing internal equity relative to other AO employees.)
