Development - User Experience Designer

Job Title: UX Designer
Location: New York City - NY - Hybrid 
Duration: 8 months contract
Pay Rate: $70-$80/hr on w2 - without benefits

Collaborate with cross-functional teams and utilize cutting-edge tools and frameworks to deliver high-quality design artifacts. This role offers an exciting opportunity to work onsite in the vibrant city of New York, NY.

Required Skills & Qualifications

• At least 4 years of experience in a Product Design role
• At least 4 years of experience with design and prototyping tools, such as Figma
• At least 4 years of experience collaborating with product, tech, and business partners
• At least 4 years of experience working with an established design system
• Experience working in heavily regulated, data-heavy problem spaces
• Must have previous client experience working for this customer in the past 5 years

Preferred Skills & Qualifications

• Experience with emerging technologies and tech constraints
• Strong portfolio demonstrating process, results, and impact
• Experience presenting work to diverse audiences

Day-to-Day Responsibilities

• Leverage expertise in product design to create journey maps, blueprints, high-fidelity designs, and prototypes
• Champion the customer through the design process with a human-centered approach
• Facilitate design process activities, negotiating customer needs and business goals
• Present work using design frameworks, data, and research insights
