Main Purpose of Job
This positions responsibilities include:
• Helping each person meet their personal outcomes • Successfully completing all Inservice Training modules, inclusive of classroom demonstrated competencies and CNA related • Full compliance with applicable policies and procedures relating to both individual care as well as identified outcomes and measures in place in furtherance of same • Provision of quality services in such representative areas as equipment utilization data collection personal hygiene and programming • Matching newly-acquired skills to enhance growth and development of persons served per their Individualized Plan (IP) goals • Discharging all duties and conducting oneself at all times per all relevant Regulations, Standards, Policies and Procedures, including Departments of Budget and Management and Mental Health and Hygiene • Title 17 CODE OF MARYLAND REGULATIONS • Office of Health Care Quality • ICF-ID Center for Medicare and Medicaid Services • CNA Certification • Statutory requirements • The Mandt System and Potomac Center SETT
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
Experience Five years of experience providing residential services in a developmental disability or similar behavior modification setting.

The desired candidate should possess the following:
• Experience supervising direct care staff • Experience working with the intellectually disabled population • Experience working with a forensic population
LICENSES REGISTRATIONS AND CERTIFICATIONS
Candidates for positions in this classification must possess a current certificate as a Nursing Assistant from the Maryland State Board of Nursing 4140 Patterson Avenue Baltimore, MD 21215. • Persons appointed to a position in this classification without certification as a Nursing Assistant must successfully complete a Board of Nursing approved nursing assistant training program and receive certification as a Nursing Assistant within six months from the date of hire prior to performing delegated nursing tasks. • Appointees who fail to successfully complete this requirement will not be retained in these positions.
Employees in this classification may be required to successfully complete training in and maintain current cardiopulmonary resuscitation certification.
SPECIAL REQUIREMENT
Employees in this classification are subject to call 24 hours a day and therefore will be required to provide the employing agency with a telephone number where they can be reached.
