Developmental Editor

Kforce has a client seeking a Remote Developmental Editor. The ideal candidate will bring editorial expertise and a passion for improving the clarity, accuracy, and educational impact of healthcare content. This role combines developmental and line editing of educational healthcare content in a dynamic, technology-forward content production environment.

Responsibilities:

• Edit healthcare-related educational content for accuracy, clarity, structure, and consistency
• Perform line editing and copyediting for grammar, usage, and adherence to internal style guides and industry standards (e.g., AMA Manual of Style)
• Collaborate closely with content developers, instructional designers, clinical editors, project managers, and image coordinators to ensure content meets quality, style, and educational objectives
• Manage multiple projects and deadlines simultaneously while maintaining a high level of quality and attention to detail
• Participate in virtual meetings and collaborate via Microsoft Teams and other internal communication tools
• Adapt to evolving workflows and technologies, contributing to process improvements and new content development approaches
