Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Developmental Educator to support children with diverse developmental needs. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in early childhood education, special education, and or behavioral health, with a focus on fostering growth and learning in children with disabilities. As a Developmental Educator, you will develop individualized educational plans, implement evidence-based interventions, and collaborate closely with families, therapists, and educators to promote optimal development and inclusion.
Requirements:
Bachelors Degree in Special Education, Early Education, Physical or Occupational Therapy, Speech, Social Work, Nursing, Psychology or other related field.
Minimum of 2 years experience in working with programs that provide direct services to children under the age of 3 with disabilities or special needs.
Current Vermont certification, registration, or licensure as it applies.
