Device Repair Technician

If you do, Batteries Plus has an opportunity for you! Batteries Plus is looking for a person that is able to repair cell phones, tablets, and other devices.

Device Repair Technician Duties:

• Complete training to become certified technician
• Communicate with customer to understand what is wrong with device
• Complete intake form with information from customer and visual inspection of the device
• Follow detailed instructions per training for each repair
• Repair cell phones, tablets, and other devices
• Notify customer when repair is complete
• Complete exit form with customer to ensure satisfactory repair
• Monitor parts inventory and notify manager when parts are needed
• Follow all safety rules and regulations; wear proper Personal Protective Equipment (PPE)

Device Repair Technician Qualifications:

• Minimum H.S. diploma or equivalent
• Computer proficiency
• Demonstrated technical aptitude
• Able to quickly understand new processes and technologies
• Demonstrated attention to detail and ability to effectively manage and track multiple commitments; effectively prioritize, follow up, and meet deadlines
• Excellent communication and customer service skills, both oral and written. Strong customer service focus
• This position requires the employee to regularly use hands to handle or touch electronic products
• This position requires lifting 10-20# on a regular and frequent basis, 50#+ on an occasional basis
