Work you'll do

We are looking for a DevOps Contractor with 5+ years of relevant experience in designing, implementing, and managing CI/CD pipelines and AWS cloud infrastructure. The ideal candidate should have strong hands-on experience with DevOps automation, Infrastructure as Code, AWS services, and monitoring/troubleshooting tools.

Roles & Responsibilities

• Design, build, maintain, and optimize CI/CD pipelines using tools such as GitHub, GitHub Actions, Terraform, SonarQube, and Artifactory.
• Build, configure, and manage AWS infrastructure to support scalable and reliable applications.
• Manage AWS services including IAM, ECS, EKS, Lambda, Load Balancers, Security Groups, S3, RDS PostgreSQL, CloudFront, and Route 53.
• Implement and maintain Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using Terraform.
• Ensure secure, reliable, and scalable cloud infrastructure through appropriate AWS configurations and best practices.
• Monitor application and infrastructure performance and availability using Datadog, Amazon CloudWatch, and CloudTrail.
• Troubleshoot and triage infrastructure, deployment, application, and production issues.
• Analyze logs, alerts, and system metrics to identify root causes and resolve incidents within defined timelines.
• Collaborate with development, QA, security, and infrastructure teams to support smooth application deployments.
• Continuously improve automation, deployment processes, monitoring, and overall infrastructure reliability.
• Follow cloud security, access management, and operational best practices across AWS environments.

Required Qualification and Skills

• 5+ years of experience in DevOps, Cloud Engineering, or a related role.
• Strong hands-on experience with AWS cloud services.
• Proficiency in GitHub and GitHub Actions for source control and CI/CD automation.
• Strong knowledge of Terraform and Infrastructure as Code.
• Experience with SonarQube and Artifactory.
• Hands-on experience with EKS/ECS, Lambda, IAM, S3, RDS PostgreSQL, Load Balancers, CloudFront, and Route 53.
• Experience with Datadog, CloudWatch, and CloudTrail for monitoring, logging, and troubleshooting.
• Strong understanding of cloud infrastructure, networking, security, and deployment processes.
• Good problem-solving and incident-triaging skills.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills.

The expected pay range for this contract assignment is $60 - $65 per hour. The exact pay rate will vary based on skills, experience, and location and will be determined by the third-party whose employees provide services to Deloitte.
