The Work:<\/span><\/span><\/b><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/div>
Provide a reliable, highly available platform that orchestrates the microservices of a modernized operational system utilizing cutting edge technologies. The DevOps Engineer will be responsible for:<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span>
<\/div>
  • Developing Infrastructure As Code and scripting to automate tasks, provision managed services, and build tools. Popular programming languages for DevOps engineers include Python, Ansible, and Terraform.<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span>
    <\/li>
  • Experience patching, hardening, and maintaining compliance of RHEL<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span>
    <\/li>
  • Install, configure, and provide performance tuning utilizing: Kubernetes, Docker Compose, Nifi, and cloud native logging and metrics collection tools.<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span>
    <\/li>
  • Managing CI/CD pipelines to automate building, testing, and deploying code utilizing GitLab runners and Argo CD.<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span>
    <\/li>
  • Managing commercial cloud computing platforms (AWS).<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span>
    <\/li>
  • Communication and collaboration: DevOps is a team -oriented discipline. Engineers need to be able to communicate and collaborate effectively with other team members, as well as with stakeholders.<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span>
    <\/li>
  • The position allows little to no work from home and will require a significant portion or all work to be performed in a Sensitive Compartmented Information Facility (SCIF).<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span>

    Basic Qualifications :<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/b><\/span><\/span><\/span>
    <\/div>
    Bachelors degree from an accredited college in a related discipline, or equivalent experience/combined education<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span>
    <\/div>
    • 9 years or more of professional experience; or 4 years of professional experience with a related Masters degree.<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span>
      <\/li>
    • An active Top Secret clearance with polygraph.<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span>
      <\/li>
    • Current Security+CE certificate.<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span>

      Requirements<\/h3>
      Desired skills (2 of the below):<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/b><\/span><\/span><\/span>
      <\/div>
      • Design, build, and maintain AWS infrastructure including but not limited to EC2, Lambdas, S3, SNS, SQS, Event Router, Athena, Step Functions using Terraform and auto scaling.<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span>
        <\/li>
      • Understanding of AWS networking principles to include VPCs, NATs, IP Gateway.<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span>
        <\/li>
      • Develop and manage Gitlab CI/CD pipelines to automate deployment processes<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span>
        <\/li>
      • Collaborate with development teams to optimize application performance and reliability.<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span>
        <\/li>
      • Troubleshoot infrastructure issues and ensure system uptime<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span>
        <\/li>
      • Kubernetes experience with a focus on EKS, ECS, and/or Fargate<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span>

        Salary Range:<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/i><\/b>
        $175k -$210k (Annually)*<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span>
