Job Description
Seeking an experienced DevOps Engineer 4 to support the AI Technology Center of Excellence (AI Technology COE). The ideal candidate will have extensive experience designing, implementing, and supporting enterprise cloud platforms, automation frameworks, infrastructure as code, AI/ML environments, and secure CI/CD pipelines.
This role focuses on building and operating scalable cloud infrastructure, enabling AI workloads, improving automation practices, implementing governance controls, and supporting production environments.
 
Key Responsibilities
  • Design, build, and maintain enterprise cloud infrastructure across platforms such as Google Cloud Platform (GCP), Azure, and Databricks.
  • Develop and manage Infrastructure as Code (IaC) solutions using tools such as Terraform and Bicep.
  • Implement and support containerized workloads using Kubernetes and related technologies.
  • Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines for application and AI/ML deployments.
  • Apply cloud architecture best practices for scalability, availability, reliability, and performance.
  • Support AI/ML/LLM platform infrastructure, including agent-based AI solutions where applicable.
  • Implement cloud security practices including IAM, encryption, secrets management, and compliance controls.
  • Embed security and governance policies into infrastructure and deployment pipelines.
  • Develop monitoring, logging, alerting, and observability solutions for cloud and AI systems.
  • Implement AI system monitoring including model performance, drift detection, reliability metrics, and operational health.
  • Support production environments, troubleshoot incidents, and improve system reliability.
  • Drive FinOps practices including cloud cost optimization, usage monitoring, and cost-performance analysis.
  • Collaborate with engineering, security, architecture, and business teams to deliver enterprise-grade solutions.
 
Education
  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or related field preferred.
  • Equivalent combination of education and extensive professional experience may be considered.
     
Experience Requirements
  • 10+ years of experience in DevOps, Cloud Engineering, or Infrastructure Engineering.
  • Extensive experience designing and supporting cloud architecture environments.
  • Hands-on experience with GCP (preferred), Azure, or Databricks platforms.
  • Strong experience with Infrastructure as Code tools such as Terraform or Bicep.
  • Experience managing container platforms, Kubernetes, and cloud-native workloads.
  • Experience building and supporting enterprise CI/CD pipelines.
  • Experience with cloud security, IAM, encryption, secrets management, and governance.
  • Experience with monitoring and observability platforms.
  • Experience supporting production systems and operational environments.
     
Preferred / Advanced Skills
  • Experience designing multi-cloud AI infrastructure with governance controls.
  • Experience embedding security policies into IaC and deployment pipelines.
  • Knowledge of AI FinOps practices including:
  • Token usage optimization
  • AI workload cost management
  • Cost-performance tradeoffs
  • Experience with AI/ML lifecycle management and model observability.
  • Experience with LLM applications, AI agents, prompt engineering, API integrations, and orchestration frameworks.
  • Knowledge of AgentOps practices including deployment, testing, monitoring, and lifecycle management.
  • Experience designing systems for regulated environments.
