DevOps Engineer

Contract to Hire (1 Year)

Join our Engineering and Cloud Ops teams to build the automated infrastructure that powers fast, reliable, cloud native software delivery. You'll design the tooling, pipelines, and IaC foundations that keep our environments stable, scalable, and ready for continuous deployment.
What You'll Do
  • Own and optimize the full software delivery pipeline architecture, CI, deployment, and production operations
  • Build automation for cloud deployments, auto scaling, zero downtime releases, and rapid rollbacks
  • Maintain high performance, highly available application infrastructure
  • Create and manage cloud environments using Infrastructure as Code
  • Automate system administration installs, configuration, patching, DR, and maintenance
  • Detect and resolve scalability, reliability, and OS level issues
  • Lead incident response and root cause analysis to uphold SLAs
  • Improve security, compliance, and resource usage automation
  • Mentor engineers and elevate DevOps best practices across teams
Who You Are
  • Organized, detail driven, and strong at process management
  • Self directed, curious, and comfortable juggling multiple priorities
  • Clear communicator who can guide teams and simplify complex technical topics
  • Passionate about quality, reliability, and automation
What You Bring
  • Bachelor's degree in CS, Engineering, or related field
  • 4+ years in DevOps, Systems Engineering, or Software Development
  • Hands on experience with Docker, Chef, Terraform, or similar automation tools
  • Strong distributed systems and web services background
  • CI/CD experience (Jenkins or equivalent)
  • Scripting skills in Java, Python, Perl, or Ruby
  • Agile development experience (Scrum, XP, Kanban)
  • Cloud experience with AWS, Azure, or GCP
  • Experience with log/event collection and automation (Elastic Stack or similar)
Bonus Points
  • Experience scaling Kafka or similar message brokers
  • Experience scaling MongoDB or other NoSQL databases
  • Experience with AKS, EKS, GKE, or other Kubernetes platforms
