DevOps Engineer

Title: DevOps Engineer

Job Type: Contract to hire (Part time to start)

Location: South Aurora (Monday-Wednesday onsite)

Pay Range: Up to $65/hour

Summary

This role is responsible for building and enhancing deployment pipelines, cloud infrastructure, and automation processes within the Azure ecosystem. The DevOps Engineer works closely with development teams to streamline code delivery, improve system reliability, and enable scalable application deployment. The position focuses on accelerating release cycles, enforcing infrastructure-as-code standards, and supporting modern application architectures such as containerized and event-driven systems.

Responsibilities

• Design, implement, and maintain CI/CD pipelines in Azure DevOps to support frequent, high-quality releases
• Partner directly with software engineers to optimize development workflows and improve deployment efficiency
• Build and manage infrastructure using Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools such as Bicep or Terraform
