"**Job Description: DevOps Engineer**
**Role Summary**
We are seeking a DevOps Engineer to build, automate, and maintain reliable software delivery and infrastructure platforms. This role will work closely with development, security, and operations teams to improve deployment speed, system reliability, scalability, and observability.
**Responsibilities**
- Design, implement, and maintain CI/CD pipelines.
- Automate infrastructure provisioning, configuration, and deployments.
- Manage cloud environments such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud.
- Support containerized applications using Docker and Kubernetes.
- Implement infrastructure as code using tools such as Terraform or CloudFormation.
- Monitor system performance, availability, and security.
- Troubleshoot production issues and participate in incident response.
- Establish logging, alerting, and observability practices.
- Apply security, backup, disaster recovery, and compliance best practices.
- Collaborate with developers to improve application deployment and operational processes.
- Document architecture, procedures, and operational standards.
**Qualifications**
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related experience.
- 3+ years of experience in DevOps, cloud engineering, systems administration, or a related field.
- Experience with Linux and scripting languages such as Python, Bash, or PowerShell.
- Hands-on experience with CI/CD tools such as GitHub Actions, Jenkins, GitLab CI, or Azure DevOps.
- Experience with cloud platforms and infrastructure as code.
- Knowledge of Docker, Kubernetes, networking, and security fundamentals.
- Experience with monitoring tools such as Prometheus, Grafana, Datadog, or CloudWatch.
- Strong troubleshooting, communication, and collaboration skills.
**Preferred Qualifications**
- Experience with GitOps, Helm, Argo CD, or service mesh technologies.
- Cloud certification such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud certification.
- Knowledge of DevSecOps and compliance automation.
- Experience supporting highly available or distributed systems."
