Our client, is a IT Services and Consulting company, is looking for a Devops Engineer for their Boston, MA/ Lowell, MA location.
 
Responsibilities:
  • Managing and scaling Kubernetes clusters
  • Handling production environments
  • Driving observability and monitoring (e.g., with Datadog)
  • Implementing alerting and operational practices
  • Supporting environment deployment and production readiness
  • This is next-level DevOps, combining development and operational ownership in a deeply hands-on way.
 
Requirements:
  • Core DevOps & Cloud Skills
  • Kubernetes (especially EKS on AWS)
  • AWS ecosystem (broad familiarity expected)
  • GitHub (including GitHub Actions)
  • Argo CD
  • CI/CD tools (e.g., CircleCI)
Additional Technologies
  • AWS Glue
  • gRPC
  • Networking Expertise (Critical Requirement)
  • A major emphasis was placed on strong networking knowledge, including:
  • NAT translation
  • Firewalls
  • General IP networking fundamentals
