Devops Engineer

Introduction

Join our team as a key contributor in managing and maintaining application environments. You will ensure availability, stability, and performance across critical platforms, and lead infrastructure automation initiatives using cloud and DevOps tools. This role offers high visibility and cross-team collaboration with development, QA, and release teams.

Required Skills & Qualifications

• Strong knowledge of environment management processes, including setup, refresh, and maintenance.
• Hands-on experience with infrastructure management tools and technologies (e.g., AWS, Azure, or other cloud platforms).
• Proficiency in scripting languages (e.g., Shell, Python, or PowerShell) for automation and troubleshooting.
• Experience with CI/CD pipelines and tools (e.g., Jenkins, Git, or similar).
• Prior work experience at a client or in the client's industry.
• Applicants must be able to work directly for Artech on W2.

Preferred Skills & Qualifications

• Experience with SAP solution manager, ITSM Remedy, Cutover, Release Manager, and Jira and Horizon tools.
• Experience with containerization and orchestration tools (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes).
• Experience in automating environment provisioning and configuration management using tools like Ansible, Terraform, or Chef.

Day-to-Day Responsibilities

• Manage and maintain application environments, ensuring availability, stability, and performance across development, testing, and production stages.
• Coordinate environment refreshes, upgrades, and patching activities in collaboration with technical teams.
• Monitor infrastructure health, identify issues, and ensure timely resolution to minimize downtime.
