DevOps Engineer

Location: Colorado Springs, CO (Schriever SFB)
Work Arrangement: 100% On-site. Primary site: Schriever SFB, Colorado Springs, CO. On-site position.
Schedule: Four 10's, Monday-Thursday; Friday-Sunday off; onsite only

Role Overview
Supports the Command and Control, Battle Management, and Communications (C2BMC) program by designing, implementing, and managing a complex hyperconverged cloud infrastructure on the Nutanix platform.

Primary Responsibilities

• Design, implement, and manage Nutanix hyperconverged cloud infrastructure.
• Develop and maintain automated deployment scripts using Ansible or Terraform.
• Collaborate with development teams to implement CI/CD pipelines.
• Identify automation and process-improvement opportunities.
• Design, develop, implement, test, and validate automation using Bash, Python, Ansible, and PowerShell.
• Track infrastructure impacts from events such as patching and maintenance.

Required Technical Skills

• Active Top Secret clearance required at start. Clearance must be verifiable in DISS.
• Virtualization experience with VMware, Red Hat OpenStack, or Nutanix.
• Linux and/or Windows Server administration.
• Scripting with Bash, Python, PowerShell, or Ansible.
• Experience on a Scrum team in an Agile environment.

Preferred Qualifications

• GitLab CI/CD pipeline development.
• Docker and Kubernetes.
• Ansible configuration management.
• Nutanix hyperconverged on-premises cloud.
• Windows Server and Active Directory.
• Scrum Master experience.
