Job Description: DevOps Engineer

Position Overview

We are seeking a skilled DevOps Engineer to join our team in the USA. The ideal candidate will be responsible for building, deploying, automating, and managing our cloud-based infrastructure and applications. This role requires strong expertise in CI/CD pipelines, cloud platforms, configuration management, monitoring, and troubleshooting. The DevOps Engineer will collaborate closely with development, QA, and operations teams to ensure smooth delivery and scalable system performance.


Key Responsibilities

  • Design, implement, and maintain CI/CD pipelines to support continuous integration and deployment.

  • Manage and optimize cloud infrastructure (AWS, Azure, or GCP) ensuring scalability, security, and reliability.

  • Automate infrastructure provisioning and configuration using tools such as Terraform, Ansible, or CloudFormation.

  • Monitor system performance and troubleshoot issues across development, staging, and production environments.

  • Implement best practices for logging, monitoring, and alerting using tools like Prometheus, Grafana, ELK Stack, or CloudWatch.

  • Enhance system security by implementing IAM policies, access controls, and compliance standards.

  • Collaborate with developers and QA teams to improve release processes and system reliability.

  • Participate in on-call rotation for production support and incident resolution.


Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field (or equivalent experience).

  • 3+ years of experience as a DevOps Engineer, Site Reliability Engineer (SRE), or similar role.

  • Strong knowledge of cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP).

  • Hands-on experience with CI/CD tools (Jenkins, GitLab CI, GitHub Actions, or CircleCI).

  • Proficiency in scripting languages (Python, Bash, or Shell).

  • Experience with containerization and orchestration (Docker, Kubernetes, Helm).

  • Familiarity with configuration management tools (Ansible, Puppet, or Chef).

  • Strong understanding of networking, system administration, and security best practices.


Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience with infrastructure as code (IaC) tools like Terraform.

  • Knowledge of microservices architecture and cloud-native application deployment.

  • Familiarity with Agile and DevOps methodologies.

  • Experience working with monitoring and logging tools (Datadog, Splunk, ELK).

  • Certification in AWS, Azure, or Kubernetes is a plus.
