Job Description

Job Summary:

We are seeking an experienced DevOps / Cloud Engineer with strong expertise in AWS, Linux administration, networking, containerization, Kubernetes, CI/CD, and infrastructure automation. The ideal candidate will be responsible for building and maintaining reliable, scalable, secure, and automated cloud infrastructure and deployment of pipelines.

Roles and Responsibilities:

  • Design, implement, and maintain scalable and highly available AWS cloud infrastructure.
  • Administer and troubleshoot Linux servers, networking, and cloud infrastructure.
  • Develop and maintain CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins, GitHub Actions, or similar tools.
  • Manage and support Kubernetes/EKS clusters and containerized workloads using Docker.
  • Implement Infrastructure as Code using Terraform, Ansible, or similar automation tools.
  • Automate infrastructure provisioning, configuration management, deployments, and operational processes.
  • Implement and maintain monitoring, logging, and observability using Datadog, Splunk, AWS CloudWatch, Prometheus, or equivalent tools.
  • Implement Descopes practices throughout the software development and deployment lifecycle.
  • Integrate and manage security tools such as Snyk, SonarQube, vulnerability scanners, and secrets-management solutions.
  • Perform security patching, vulnerability remediation, and configuration hardening.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve production incidents, infrastructure issues, deployment failures, and performance problems.
  • Participate in incident response, root-cause analysis, and preventive action planning.
  • Improve system reliability, scalability, availability, and operational efficiency.

Education & Experience:

  • Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related technical field.
  • Relevant industry certifications such as AWS Certified Solutions Architect, AWS Certified DevOps Engineer, Certified Kubernetes Administrator (CKA), or equivalent are preferred.
  • 3–7+ years of experience in DevOps, Cloud Engineering, Site Reliability Engineering, Infrastructure Engineering, or a related role.
  • Hands-on experience with CI/CD platforms, particularly Jenkins, GitHub Actions, or similar tools.
  • Strong knowledge of Linux administration and networking concepts.
