Immediate need for an DevOps Engineer. This is a 6-month contract opportunity with long term potential and is in Irving TX. Please review the job description below: Job ID: 20-31824 Remote initially due to COVID-19 must be expected to work onsite in the office once offices are reopen Key Responsibilities: Build the future of machine learning at client. Work in a diverse team with good communication skills and is an independent worker. Able to commit ideas to paper. Provide DevOps SDLC and Operations support for greenfield and existing Machine Learning related systems and platforms to help serve client's internal data science teams across on-prem, private cloud, and public cloud systems. Design and program CI/CD pipelines that allow the team to always have the most current version in production. Provide support for development and production systems and assist with instrumentation of those systems to enable democratization of machine learning at client. Support QA, Pre Production and Production environments for machine learning products and MLOps platform components. Automate deployments into dev and QA environments after each commit and work with the team to ensure tests are executed. Design pipelines for Docker-based deployment into multiple different environments including AWS and on prem solutions. Key Requirements and Technology Experience: AWS System Architect Linux Kubernetes Docker Jenkins Git RedHat Linux Basic network skills Shell scripting/Python Google Suite Jira Critical thinking Good communications and presentation skills Python or Golang ELK Stack Experience with machine learning platforms Knowledgeable about security best practices Kafka Hadoop BS in computer science or a related field May be required for periodic night and weekend support of production systems Our client is a leading Telecom Industry and we are currently interviewing to fill this and other similar contract positions.
